The Christophers is a sharp dark comedy centered on an aging, reclusive London painter, played by Ian McKellen, whose greedy children (James Corden and Jessica Gunning (Baby Reindeer)) are desperate for a massive payday.

In these two workshops, Dr Liam Harrison explores the art of creative non-fiction — from personal essay and memoir, to writing about the lives of others.

Art historian Jonathan Camp will explore the fascinating world of Frida Kahlo through a detailed look at one of her finest paintings Self-Portrait with Thorn Necklace and Hummingbird (1940).

Join Jane Duffus who will uncover the previously untold stories of 200 remarkable women from the city. Among them are 26 suffragists, six artists, four doctors, two pioneering police officers and one big-hearted chicken — but that is only the beginning. Jane brings to life women from every walk of life and every part of Bath, from laundresses and workhouse inmates to theatre revolutionaries and city councillors.

We all craft ideas we have started and now they are lurking in a draw unloved - dig them out and come and share a morning of knitting, crochet, tapestry, cross stich, rag rugs or whatever you would love to resurrect or mend!
