You may not know that FoCCaL has become a charity this year – but we have! At our AGM on Tuesday 15 September, we will be standing down the existing committee and the founding trustees, and electing a new board of trustees.

Peter Bassett has been a wildlife filmmaker for over 30 years, filming around the world from the Arctic to the Antarctic, and from the Kalahari desert to the Amazonian rainforest. Whilst at the BBC Natural History Unit he worked primarily with Sir David Attenborough on series such as ‘Life in the Freezer', ‘Life of Birds’, ‘Life in the Undergrowth’ and most recently ‘The Green Planet’.

What would happen if our politicians, business leaders and communities were given an unvarnished briefing on the climate and nature crisis — and told what needs to happen now?

We all craft ideas we have started and now they are lurking in a draw unloved - dig them out and come and share a morning of knitting, crochet, tapestry, cross stich, rag rugs or whatever you would love to resurrect or mend!
