For this event Jonathan will be discussing a local painter Doris Hatt- who trained in Bristol and lived in Clevedon for most of her life. Her 'Bristol from the Docks' is a splendid example of British post-war modernism. It will be good to look at a painting in which Clifton Library is almost in view!
