Film maker David Parker shares encounters with some astonishing women including: novelist, Elizabeth Jane Howard, artist and food writer, Dorothy Hartley, Exmoor caravan dweller and writer, Hope Bourne, kindertransport evacuee Lore Prankett, Auschwitz survivor, Esther Bejerano and the incredible pioneer of women on the land, Beatrix Havergal. David has featured all of them in films he has made over the last 30 years and he will share some thoughts about why these women were such remarkable trail blazers in their time.
