Wildlife filming behind the scenes with Peter Bassett
Join Peter's stories from the Arctic to the Antarctic , and from the Kalahari desert to the Amazonian rainforest
Wed 14th Oct 2026 7.00pm Clifton Library

Whilst at the BBC Natural History Unit he worked primarily with Sir David Attenborough on series such as ‘Life in the Freezer', ‘Life of Birds’, ‘Life in the Undergrowth’ and most recently ‘The Green Planet’.

Tonight he has come all the way from the end of Princess Victoria Street to give a quirky ‘behind the scenes’ look at wildlife filmmaking, and to share some light-hearted stories about the bizarre, and sometimes frightening, challenges he faced on location when things didn’t quite go to plan.

14th October 7.00pm - until 8.30pm (90 mins)
