Their talks and conversation will cover some of the emotional, psychological and physical impacts of cancer diagnosis and treatment, including the usefulness, or otherwise, of metaphors which compare cancer to an invader, and describe the experience of living with cancer as a deadly battle.

They will also discuss some of the tools, strategies and resources which have helped them reduce the negative impacts of the illness and its treatments, while maintaining, and even building, their resilience and ability to flourish in a challenging world.
Event starts at 7pm - the bar opens at 6.30pm
