The Yanquis line-up for LitFest features Stuart Gibb (vocals, harmonica), Andy Pinner (vocals, guitar), Paul Berrington (electric guitar) and Mick Gavaghan (saxophone).
Formed in the late 1970s, the band has evolved from post-punk roots through Soul, Country and Blues, bringing decades of musical experience to every show. Fresh from performing at FestJazz in Brittany, they’re regular favourites in Bristol and Cornwall, known for filling dancefloors with energy and heart.
Expect rousing versions of Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, Merle Haggard, Ry Cooder and even a little Elvis. Grab a
drink, sing along, and maybe kick up your heels - Los Yanquis guarantee a great night out.
